The Ultra Bee is the bike that finally made Sur-Ron feel like a real motorcycle. 21kW peak, ~70 miles of trail range, 195 lbs — fast enough to embarrass most gas dirt bikes off the line, light enough that you can pick it up at the bottom of a climb.
Sur-Ron's 2025 flagship. The Ultra Bee runs a 21kW peak motor against a 195 lb forged aluminum frame, and the power-to-weight is honestly stupid — it'll outpace most gas dirt bikes from a stop, no contest. The 74V/60Ah battery is good for around 70 miles of trail riding (less if you ride it the way you should), and the onboard charger lives under the seat so you don't have to pack it separately. 2.5 hour charge from empty.
The 50/50 weight balance is what most reviews skip over. It's the difference between a bike that feels like a Sur-Ron and a bike that feels like a real motorcycle in the woods. You can actually trail-ride this thing — pick lines, throw it into corners, hop logs — without fighting the geometry the whole time.
Three months of riding before we put it on the site
The build quality is a real step up from the Light Bee era — the connectors hold up, the suspension actually works, and the controller doesn't grenade itself when you push it hard. It's one of the few bikes in this price range we'd recommend without a caveat. That's why it's here.
Power without the weight tax
21kW peak, 195 lbs of bike. The 74V/60Ah battery and reinforced drivetrain are built to take the abuse. Pulls hard, holds together, charges fast.
Traction control with three real modes
Three quick-adjust levels of off-road traction control plus a tunable throttle curve. Won't save you from sending it off a cliff, but it'll catch you on the wet roots.
Charger lives on the bike
The onboard charger sits under the seat with proper ventilation. Find an outlet, plug in, ride home. No extra brick to pack.
Real motorcycle geometry
Forged aluminum frame, 50/50 weight balance, 9.4" of front travel. Rides like a motorcycle, not a bicycle with a battery duct-taped to it.
The Ultra Bee isn't a first electric. The throttle is direct, the power comes on fast, and traction control only does so much when you're still learning what the bike feels like at the edge of grip. If you're new to e-moto, look at the [Light Bee] or [Hyper Bee] first — both are real bikes, both will teach you a lot, and both are easier to learn on without leaving you wanting more for at least a season. Come back when you're ready. We'd rather sell you the right bike twice than the wrong one once.
