XLB-60 CORE Motor Kit Sur-Ron / E-Ride Pro / Talaria X3

The EBMX XLB-60 CORE motor is a serious performance upgrade for the lightweight e-moto class. Where OEM motors are calibrated for factory power levels and stock battery capacity, the XLB-60 unlocks up to 41kW peak output — the difference between a bike that's fun and a bike that's genuinely fast. Real-world testing shows 32-35kW sustained on 72V systems with 18" rear wheel and 52T sprocket, meaning you get race-level performance without needing full 96V race hardware.

The design centers on a 64mm stator with 10-pole, 12-slot configuration and NJDC 605 encoder sensors. Encoder-based position tracking is significantly more accurate than hall-based systems — the result is smoother throttle response, better low-speed control, and dramatically reduced controller issues under high load. Voltage range spans 48V to 104V, giving you room to grow from stock battery setups all the way to full 96V race builds.

Five color options let you match the motor to your build: Black for stealth, or Blue, Gold, Purple, or Red for standout. All colors use the same performance internals — appearance only. Kit includes the motor, plug-and-play wiring harness specific to your bike and controller combination, and mounting hardware. Recommended gearing setups are 52T on 18" wheels or 48T on 16" wheels for balanced acceleration and top speed.

Install is advanced — you're replacing the primary drive motor, which means pulling the sprocket, chain, and any protective covers, then aligning the new motor and setting up the controller for the new power characteristics. If you're running a Sur-Ron Light Bee or older E-Ride Pro, you'll need to upgrade the battery before running this motor at full performance — the stock batteries can't sustain the current draw.
