The EBMX X-9000 V3 is the definitive power upgrade for the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee. Where the stock controller was calibrated for factory power levels, the V3 unlocks up to 50kW continuous / 60kW peak output — the difference between a bike that's fast and a bike that's genuinely fast. This is the same controller platform pro racers run on the fastest e-motos in the world.
The V3 was redesigned from the inside out with 30 Infineon MOSFETs and re-engineered heat dissipation, letting it sustain high-power output without throttling. Custom EBMX VESC firmware with Field-Oriented Control (FOC) delivers precise throttle response and smoother motor control than any stock unit. The integrated IMU enables Wheel Lift Assist — fully tunable for launch control, anti-loop, or stunt riding.
Tuning is handled through the free EBMX app: 6 fully customizable power levels, throttle curves, regen braking, E-Clutch settings, and 30+ preloaded motor tunes. Whether you're keeping stock hardware or building toward a full 96V race setup, the V3 grows with the bike. OTA updates keep the firmware current.
Install is advanced but straightforward with the included plug-and-play harness. Requires a 200A-250A ANL fuse or circuit breaker to maintain warranty — this is a critical safety component for high-power controllers and not something to skip. If you're not comfortable with electrical work on a high-voltage system, have a shop do the install (we offer this service if you're local).
